Isn’t technology grand?

Tonight we were able to video chat with my little bro via Skype on the brand new flat screen.
Ben is having a blast in Tennessee and will be making the trek back down south tomorrow. It was nice to have the whole family gathered in the living room, even though one member was still technically thousands of miles away.
Dinner tonight was pretty easy.

My Dad boiled a head of cabbage with some left over ham steak and I bulked it up with some left over roasted vegetables on the side.
For dessert I had the very last of my Mom’s Peanut Butter Balls.

Can’t wait until Christmas when she makes them again.
Derek made it to my parent’s house a little while ago and immediately crashed. We had plans to see the Blind Side tonight, but I can’t bare to wake him.

Maybe we’ll see it tomorrow.
Good Night!

Sometimes sleep has to take precedence over socializing
I’m glad you got to be with all of your family – I’m impressed at the skype through the TV!

The movie Blind Side was the topic of a lot of dinner conversation at Thanksgiving. I haven’t seen it but many mentioned that it was really good.
I need a nap like Derek!
