Wow! All I can say is wow!!

IMG_5331.JPG

FoodBuzz I think you got it right with this event! Congrats on a successful kick off of what is sure to be the first of many successful festivals to come. :)

As nice as my room is, I couldn’t stay in it for long this afternoon! As soon I hit published I headed downstairs to meet with Sabrina, Kath, and Britney for a brief walk of the area. Kath was on a mission for fro-yo and we were determined to help her make it a successful one.

After a couple of wrong terms we circled back and found Yocup right next door.

Sabrina, Birtney and I weren’t very hungry, but fell in love with our samples of the pumpkin flavored yogurt. We all agreed to split a small and it worked perfectly. :)

When I returned to the hotel I couldn’t wait to dig into the fabulous swag that had found its way to my room in my absences.

The first official Foodbuzz festival kicked off with a cocktail hour on the terrace.

And to finally meet face to face new ones.

Of course after reading everyone’s blogs for however long I feel like no introductions are really needed. :)

Once the cocktail hour died down we headed across the street to the ferry building for a ‘Taste of SF Street Food Fair’

“A line up of SF’s finest street food, from the Mission District to the Ferry Building and all the tasty treats in between.”

Wow, that’s a lot of food!! Keep in mind I only had a few bites of everything. Well.. minus the cupcakes. I ate both of those – no problem. ;)

It’s only 9:00 here, but its after midnight back home and that means its well past my bed time. We have an early group run planned in the morning that should be fun!

Good Night!

you look like you’re losing weight. like the picture of you with your spoon in the froyo cup, you’re pants are like baggy on you. and your face and neck just look gaunt.

I will admit I have lost a couple of pounds while marathon training, but those pants are from my college days and are my really comfy baggie pants that I like to wear when I travel. :)

Hi Meghann, I remember you wrote a wonderful post about how you actually gained weight (muscle!) from marathon training for the first marathon you ran because you body needs that extra fuel to sustain the training. I think this is why some of your readers are so concerned. Take care of yourself — you know your body best. Have fun in SF!

    • November 8, 2009 7:42 am

Oh yeah, let me clarify I would never try to attack Meghann- just sayin’…concerned is the perfect word :)
