I did it! I bought a domain name today.

You can now view my blog at http://www.graduatemeghann.com Don’t worry you won’t have to change your bookmarks, the old address should still transfer and hopefully Google Reader will do the same thing. :)

In other news I just talked to my Dad and he wanted me to Thank all of you for the wonderful Birthday Wishes! He was really touched there were so many comments wishing him another good year.

For my snack today I had a Kashi Cereal Bar.

For dinner I decided to make an old favorite I haven’t had in a while… Perfectly Portioned Chicken Meatloaf. I made a couple of changes by making it with Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs instead of Oatmeal and added some Buffalo Sauce for a little spice.

With the meatloaf I had half of a Tomato and a quarter of a Butternut Squash.

The dinner was wonderfully satisfying and just the right amount of food. :)

Dessert was Cinnamon Apples topped with Annie’s Honey Graham Bunnies and a dollop Fat Free Cool Whip.

It was the perfect ending to another great meal.

People always ask me how I manage to cook meals for just me night after night and I tell them it’s easy. Just looking back at this meal and remembering how great it what makes it east. I can’t wait to see what I can cook next, which makes me wonder how people give up for cooking for themselves. Sure, I’m the only one enjoying the food, but does that really matter? I mean what’s wrong with working hard for just me for a change? :) Does anyone else out there really enjoy cooking for just you?

I had a 1 hour meeting turn into a 2 hour meeting today, which meant I couldn’t leave for lunch until after 1:00! My stomach started growling very loudly through the end of the meeting. Its weird because on the weekends I can get away with late lunches, but when I’m at work it is just not an option.

It was also strange because I had a very hearty snack before the meeting.

I had some Broccoli and Sabras Hummus. This was actually a great snack, very yummy.

Lunch was quick since I was so hungry by the time I got to eat.

I had a bowl of left over 15 Bean Soup and a serving of Kashi Crackers.

I love how well soup freezes! This still tasted great and was so filling I could not finish the bowl.

Gossip Girl Spoiler: (If you haven’t watched the episode yet stop reading!)

Since I know I have so many Gossip Girl fans out there, I want to know what you all thought about last night’s episode?!?!?! Do you think Serena and Dan should stick together? I think they are taking the show to whole other realm of weird with that story line! And wasn’t it a little anti-climatic when they got back together? Atleast we got to see the good in Blair! :)

Today is my Dad’s 46th Birthday!

Fun Facts about my Dad:

  • He is the 7th son
  • He ran is first 5k with me back in April
  • I was born in the same hospital as he was 22 years later
  • He is the primary chef in the family

I won’t get a chance to see him today, but he has requested a Pudding Pie from my Mom and the two of them are going to a new Cuban restaurant tonight for dinner.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday Daddy!

The great thing about it being my Dad’s birthday is that means mine is just around the corner! February 8th doesn’t seem to far off now. ;)

I woke up this morning determined to get a run in. Even though I still feel icky (I think I’m getting sick) I stuck it out for a 3.79 mile run in 35:48. I decided if I ran faster then the run would be over quicker. Blah… I hate feeling this way. I like to enjoy my runs and make them last, not try to get them over with as soon as possible. I am determined to get a longer run in tomorrow.

I need to go cereal shopping sometime soon, I’m running low on variety. Apparently I’m running low on fresh fruit as well, I had to be creative with what I put in there this morning.

This morning’s combination included 2/3 cup Kashi Mighty Kids, ½ cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch, 2 spoonfuls of Applesauce, Grapes & canned Pineapple. As much as I didn’t think the fruit toppings would go together, I thought it was a great combination.

Now, its off to work I go!
